CNC/EDM Machinist
Utilizing the demonstrated ability to read complex blueprints, you will maximize the operation of the CNC electrical discharge machines, produce finish cavity sizes, and finish to extremely close tolerances as per specifications. Able to use various toolroom equipment at a highly skilled level, you will achieve minimum electrode wear and optimize cavity life and die performance . As a qualified Toolmaker with 2 years’ EDM experience or a CNC Machinist with 2 years’ EDM background, you have completed a 4 year apprenticeship or have acquired a 2-year Mechanical Engineering college diploma.

Tool and Equipment Designer
You will receive project outlines and conceptualize design in consultation with the Engineering Manager and will complete tooling/equipment layouts ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety and ergonomic standards. You will perform gate and stress load calculations as required, negotiate tooling requirements directly with the customer and generate 3D models of the die casting components. You must have an advanced level knowledge of the die casting/injection molding process and controls, blueprint reading and interpretation.
Consideration will be given only to applicants with advanced knowledge of ProE software.
